Use Bright Dyes® UV Lights with our tracer dyes when you do not want dye to be visible to the naked eye. Some customers prefer to use our fluorescent dyes discreetly, so that it can only be detected with a UV Light.

UV light is an electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength between 200 and 400 nm. This wavelength is shorter than that of visible light but longer than X-rays.

Our handheld UV leak detector lights are lightweight, portable units with wavelengths ranging between 365 – 395nm.

These handheld UV light detectors are ideal for use in the field and in the lab to check for the presence of both water and solvent-based fluorescent dye products.

UV Leak Detector Lights – 810012 – 12 LED mini handheld UV light emits long waves at approximately 395nm. Is lightweight and small enough to fit into a pocket. A nylon strap is attached for easy handling. Operates on 3-AAA batteries (Not Included)

UV Leak Detector Lights – 810014– This powerful 385 nm black light utilizes (14) 5mm UV LED bulbs, allowing it to fluoresce at distances over 20 feet in darkness. Toggle on/off switch for continuous use. Requires three 1.5-volt AAA batteries (not included).

UV Leak Detector Lights – 810016 – This is a great blacklight. True 365nm longwave performance. Compact, lightweight and small enough to fit in your pocket. Includes a nylon strap for easy handling. Recharge using convenient USB port build into the high-strength water resistant aluminum case.
